New Software Updates Expand WaveForming Across the Altitude Platform
New software updates are now available for AltitudeCI, Altitude16, Altitude32, and SDP75-80, bringing the latest WaveForming™ improvements across the platform.
AltitudeCI 2.2 and Altitude16/32 and SDP75-80 version 4.4.5 introduce support for WaveForming with as few as two front subwoofers, making the technology accessible to rooms where rear subwoofers cannot be installed.
The updates also introduce Bass Management Alignment, allowing installers to prioritize all speakers, L/R/C, L/R only, or the center channel depending on the main use of the system.
WaveForming optimization has also been refined to deliver more predictable and stable results, improved decay control, and more natural-sounding bass, using filters that better reflect the physical behavior of the room.
For AltitudeCI, the update also improves Target Curve editing and delay adjustment during calibration.
SDP75-80 additionally receives new default presets and 10 new AEQ speaker tuning profiles, while WaveForming is now available across all units.
Existing presets should be recomputed after updating to benefit from the latest WaveForming improvements.
