Trinnov Audio is a highly innovative and research-focused audio lab that specializes in the digital processing of acoustic fields. Our approach is to focus on the acoustic properties of audio, and to use the latest digital techniques to enhance the quality of audio recording and reproduction.

Our unique products are the result of more than seven years of extensive research that lead to five international patents.

• The Optimizer : a state-of-the-art digital room correction processor designed for stereo and multichannel professional control rooms, as well as for high-end hi-fi and home theater installations.
• The SRP : a unique surround microphone array with high spatial resolution. It is designed for high quality 5.1 recording.

In addition to these two products, the Trinnov technology is available through our licensing programs for consumer electronics manufacturers.

Short history

2008:

• Sherwood announces the first AV Receiver equipped with the Trinnov Optimizer technology,
• Distribution started in Spain.

2007:

• Customer Highlights: Fox Studios, France3, IRT, Mc Gill University, Radio France, SFP, Télétota, SWR, ZDF...
• Distribution started in Canada, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
• Trinnov joins the ED Cine project.

2006:

• First Optimizers installed at NRK, ORF, Studio Odéon 120, Tonstudio Beusch and Vienna Fine Arts Academy,
• Distribution started in Austria, Belgium and the UK.

2005:

• Trinnov announces the Optimizer at the 118th AES Convention in Barcelona.

2004:

• First exhibition of the SRP during the 116th AES Convention in Berlin.
• Start of USA operations.

2003:

• First scientific paper for the 114th AES Convention in Amsterdam: A New Comprehensive Approach of Surround Sound Recording, preprint 5717.

2002:

• Trinnov Audio wins an award from the French Ministry for Research as one on the most innovative young companies of the year. 

2001:

• 1st working test of a fully functional 3rd-order 3D audio chain.

2000:

• Arnaud Laborie, Sébastien Montoya and Rémy Bruno join forces to focus on research in 3D sound.

  Arnaud is at the origin of Trinnov Audio and is in charge of the strategy and business administration. Arnaud's brief resume:
