Trinnov Audio exhibited their new HiFi dedicated Stereo Room/Speaker Optimization Processor at the High End Show in Munich, with their German distributor D!ME.

The world’s most advanced room correction technology is now becoming available to the most demanding audiophiles and music lovers with the ST2-HiFi, a Trinnov Product specifically designed for High-End HiFi installations.
Behind an elegant, minimalist buttons free sleek brushed aluminum front panel, the ST2-HiFi hides a four purposes product :Speaker Processor, Digital Preamp, High quality AD/DA converter, and room correction software.
Trinnov pointed out they wanted to release the ultimate monitoring tool, offering all what should be needed at the end of your equipment chain: High Performance audio and full control over your room caracteristics, all in good respect of your existing equipments.
Hardware Side
Hardware Side, the ST2-Hifi features Trinnov’s new generation of AD/DA converters, advanced high Jitter rejection technology, independent Audio and processing PSUs.
The rear panel offers comprehensive connectivity, giving access to 6 Stereo Sources selection, and flexibility of choice between Analog balanced, Analog single ended, AES and Spdif.
No matters the speaker setups used, the St2-Hifi will suit any of the wiring protocols usually found on the market.
Software Side
Software side, the ST2-HiFi is powered by the same algorithms that has established Trinnov’s reputation as the best-in-class room/loudspeaker optimizer in music, post and film mixing studios all around the world. The full option embedded software is flexible and easy to use, offers realtime control and comprehensive features such as iterative Acoustic Measurement and Analysis, Multi-Point Measurements, Automatic EQ, Target Curves, Automatic Phase Optimization and Crossover alignment.
Its 4 simultaneous inputs and outputs processing channels are capable of handling all 4 channels formats, from Stereo to 2 Stereo set of speakers, 2.1, 2.2, LCR, 3.1, LCRS, and Quad.
Also, for large multi-way systems with active crossovers, Trinnov’s Intelligent Crossover Alignment functionality dramatically reduces the effort required to setup gains and delays on each way. While a 2-way system can be managed with a single ST2, 3-way and 4-way systems can be installed by combining two ST2s.
At last, the ST2-HiFi is fully remotable with any laptop, Smart Phone, tablets through VNC protocol.
Booth
Trinnov Audio Booth was decided to be designed in a very minimalist way. Only one unit was displayed on a tower type desk in the middle center of the booth, remoted with VNC through an ipad. The ST2-Hifi was focused as a centerpiece equipment of the setup, wired to diffrent types of sources and taking control over a brand new pair of Dynaudio Focus 340, nicely provided by Dynaudio International GmbH and shown for the first time during the fair: http://www.dynaudio.com/relaunch1/index.php
Trinnov Audio solutions were also found on some speakers manufacturer’s demo rooms like Manger Products and AudioNec that kindly asked for a Trinnov Digital acoustic treatment for demoing products in best possible conditions.
